BioShock
Game of the year already?
The third run-through is a neat mix of the two styles, where brains meet brawn, demonstrating a huge range of options and almost limitless improvisation. This time, the Big Daddy and Little Sister are in an entirely different spot, neatly demonstrating the autonomous behavioral AI. Stealthing in, we use Cryo-Field to freeze the first Splicer before he can alert the room, gratuitously smashing him up with a wrench. Then we use Enrage on the Big Daddy, which sends him postal, attacking the Splicers around him, while we wade in with shots from a crossbow from a safe distance. As the room is cleared, the Big Daddy has already sustained half damage. But it's a long way to go.
