Big Fest, free-to-play music festival creator, revealed for Vita

Thought Sony forgot about the Vita? Think again. Introducing Big Fest, a free-to-play festival-creation game where you're tasked with creating, building, and managing the ultimate music festival. Sony has also teamed up with music website Jamendo to allow you to actually import real, unsigned artists to fill out your show.

Gameplay-wise it looks like a simulation game--a mix between SimCity and Zoo Tycoon.  The trailer showed the player plopping down stages and booths, filling out the big, empty field with structures to lure music fans. It has a nice, tilt-shifted art style and a bunch of neat social features. We don't have a release date just yet, but we hope to find out more about this interesting experience in the near future.
