So excited all I wanted from this one was Rocksteady and no multiplayer I never even touched that mode out of beta because I knew it was going to blow afterwards interesting idea poorly executed is still a poor experience. I'm off to pre-order expect to see more of me around these parts :-)

My only concern is Batman himself The DLC with Robin and Harley had Batman really pouty and stubborn because you-know-what happened. He better not keep that attitude

    Now we talking

My ovaries exploded when I watched the trailer and I'm going to pre-order soon.

Thank you for the comment, I noticed it's a sausage fest around here.

    I just ejaculated

This reminded me that I haven't finished Arkham Origins. Hopefully some of those game breaking glitches have been fixed. Pity the game itself is powerfully average, even for a comic nerd like me.

    Absolutely buzzing

Looking pretty forward to this. How did none of us (users and editors alike) predict a new Batman game when we were doing all the new year predicting? Rocksteady had been silent for 2+ years. Shame on all of us.
  • Jackonomics2.0 - March 4, 2014 7:01 p.m.

Actually GR predicted it once, when talking about Arkham Origins and how Rocksteady is most likely doing the final chapter but WB didn't want them to take 20 million years so they made Origins happen.
  • rainn'sgaydar - March 4, 2014 7:33 p.m.

Well I meant in the onslaught of predictions we saw at the beginning of the year. I don't recall seeing one in those articles, though I may just not remember. I think we all expected to see one more from Rocksteady at some point, but it seems like it was forgotten in those articles. Again, I may have just forgotten. Not like it's all that big of a deal anyway, I guess. Just thought it was worth noting.

Am I the only one who is NOT excited to have a drivable bat-mobile this time?
  • winner2 - March 4, 2014 1:24 p.m.

You're not alone. I couldn't even finish City, I got bored/fatigued when Alfred was like "you have a responsibility to the people of gotham bruce, i can't tell you where Talia is. I'm sorry sir." I praise Asylum to high heaven but I just didn't care for City. Not interested in this either, same as Origins.
  • winner2 - March 4, 2014 1:24 p.m.

Ah, woops, I misread your comment a bit. I don't know if you're unexcited about the game itself. I am though, so I'm also unexcited for the batmobile.
  • jh4911 - March 4, 2014 1:34 p.m.

I'm dubious too, but if anyone can pull it off - it's Rocksteady.
  • mothbanquet - March 5, 2014 5:41 a.m.

The games did perfectly fine defining their genres without drivable Batmobiles previously. To echo a sentiment that I've found myself repeating more and more lately, if it ain't broke don't effing fix it.

Its a concern IMO, since there would have to be a balance between traversing on grappling hook versus traversing in a vehicle, could be a mix of vertical and horizontal approaches. But still I hope this is not a sign of having kilometers to traverse just to do something. Adding pursuits and the classic escape from the exploding building could be cool.
