Atari boss Bonnell steps down

Bruno Bonnell, the chairman and CEO of Atari and founder of parent company Infogrames is leaving the company after 24 years in the top seat.

Bonnell confirmed: "It is with understandable emotions, but also reassurance about the future, that I leave Infogrames.

"Time for business developers has logically come, after the entrepreneurial period. It's now time for Infogrames to conquer and progress," he added.

Bonnell founded French-based parent company, Infogrames, 24 years ago. Atari has appointed Patrick Leleu as a replacement in the event of Bonnell's departure.
