I'd buy one if the online was better. That's about all I get out of consoles atm is the idea of online play, and very few wii games feature that. Oh, and a new Pokemon Battle Revolution. That'd be nice too, for Black and White, considering the graphics of the older one were extremely good for a wii game.

Ok an HD system which is compairable to the 360 and ps3, uses the classic controller, 120GB hard drive, no friend codes and $300 is my dream nintendo console

I agree. I think Nintendo will reveal (but not name) their new console this year, and then fully unveil it next E3, then launch in November 2012. Nintendo can squeeze out another holiday season with Wii, but I have to assume its replacement is near. It's just too damn behind the times, and its motion controls are no longer unique. Time for an upgrade.

They definately need to put work into a new console, the Wii just cant stand up to the 360 and PS3 anymore. Sony and Microsoft are both breaking into the casual and motion-control gaming, but unlike Nintendo, they arent forsaking the hardcore market. Nintendo not only need to make a HD console, but they need to put focus back into the people who helped them get so far in the first place.

Hmmmm... Michael Pachter was talking about a Wii HD for a long time which never happened. Nintendo seems to want to come up with some kind of novel innovation these days before they release something and I feel like they can squeeze more $$$ out of the Wii anyway. I'll believe it when Nintendo announces it.

This prediction may prove to be as true as any other 2012 related prediction. Maybe the gods will return with the Wii2 in hand, ushering in the new age of gaming in Paradise? They can probably explain what 'Gulture mixtures' are while they're at it, in addition to deciphering the other bits of prophecy this ReCaptcha dispenses on a regular basis.

I've always been a Nintendo fanboy myself, so I'd buy it. Also didn't Nintendo say somewhere that since HD televisions are becoming more popular, the next system will therefore be HD, or something on the lines of that.

*Edit* "...screw it!", not "...screw!" lulz

No buy unless much is overhauled

The graphics better improve or screw! I never liked the graphics on my Wii!

I'd finally buy a Wii, since they'll probably be real cheap by then!
