I actually really liked MTN Dew Game Fuel...
  • onetimebuster - May 17, 2012 12:21 p.m.

The end of that prototype 2 ad made me think of a really bad godzilla film it looked so corny and not good corny like the godzilla movies pull off

I saved a halo themed mountain dew drink for over 2 years to see how much worse it would taste overtime and one sip made my stomach die.

Game Fuel tasted good. Better then regular Mountain Dew, at least.

The X-Blades spiel was probably my favourite part of the article, Ivy gets so much hate :P. Also, in the guys game paragraph, you called the fake You Don't Know Jack game You Don't Jack, which is crazy cause Bros definitely do.

I noticed that too, the rest of it was alright, and the falling scene was really good but then they just had him lean forward and moved the scenery behind him, very cheap/

I could be wrong about this, but I thought the Guy Game was pulled from shelves because one of the girls was under 18.

Ah, the disasters we avoided, SSXXX, DOAXXX, XXX-Men, XXXXX, and so forth.

The X-blades sequel, Blades of Time, is pretty good though. At least Ayumi wears pants in Blades of Time. They're short shorts, sure, but she's still more clothed than in the first game.

    .....gimme a crab juice.

Although I was not interested in Prototype 2, I thought those commercials were great. Very sad and whenever I hear "Hurt" covered by Johnny Cash I feel a strange mixture of depression and happiness.

    Yeah it was.

I would include the entire cast of Gears of War on this list. I mean, the games are pretty good, but it baffles me whenever people mention the series' "story" or "character" in the same sentence as "good." Especially Cole Train. Worst fictional character of all time. Made me want to punch the tv.

    LOL for real. Agree fully.

I just rented Gears of War 3. I wanted to punch the TV screen too. Thankfully you can skip cutscenes and mute the voice acting, this way the game is more bearable with just music and sfx.

I am amazed at how many media outlets talked about the cast and story like they had any depth at all. Gamesradar even listed Dom's wife's death scene as one of the saddest scenes in gaming. WTF? If the rest of the game wasn't full of the most annoying, stereotypical, and borderline offensive characters and dialogue, maybe it would have had some sort of impact. To me, the whole series is just one big bro-fest of the worst kind. Thankfully, the multiplayer in the third game is excellent.

You've said some horribly offensive shit on this site before, but I find this to be the most disturbing. Take it back! Also, the entire Halo franchise seems kind of bro-ish to me. There's no denying that it's a bro favorite.

not even sports fans like the fox sports robot.
  • DecoyOctorok - May 17, 2012 8:06 p.m.

Welp. It's been a good ride but I think we're seeing the end of GR here.
  • ThatGamerDude - May 17, 2012 8:13 p.m.

I actually bought Game Fuel when they were doing the double XP promotion for Modern Warfare 3. It tasted good at first... until I went to the hospital. Lol I didn't go to the hospital but I did get really sick.
