    I'm interested to see, if it's as acute and high performance as those vids make me want to believe then I could see something cool happening with it. Old kinect was just straight shit, new kinect could actually have the prowess to be used in an awesome way.

    No it can't. At least, not to people like me that aren't willing to submit to all of the other bullshit restrictions MS is seeking to put on it's console. Besides, that's even assuming the Kinect 2 can deliver on all of it's so called promises, and even THEN, assuming developers give enough of a shit into putting out games that actual make smart use of motion controls. Both which are things that have failed miserably in the past will ALL THREE of the known motion sensing devices each big console maker has. So past track records are not even in the Kinect 2.0's favor.
