Never heard of any of these people in the FGC. WONDER WHY
  • lakie92 - July 21, 2014 4:17 p.m.

You haven't been there recently then surely? Smash is now not only almost completely accepted in the FGc but it gets numbers on par with other games at the big tourneys now streamwise.

Those guys above us are pretty over reactive I still could stand a chance against a pro as Mario tho
  • Starkk44 - April 29, 2014 6:05 p.m.

I am a pro. Ive beaten literally thousands of ppl online. Noobs, pros, cowards. I understand what your saying in this article, but maybe next time you can be a little more open about your audience.
  • N894 - June 25, 2014 1:12 p.m.

You're not a pro because you can beat noobs online, get out ta here with that bullshit. Not only is this article mainly Melee which isn't online but even Brawl and PM pro's don't play online seriously. Everyone on this list would JV 4 stock you lol.
  • Starkk44 - June 25, 2014 2:56 p.m.

Always someone trying to start some shit. I know beating noobs doesnt make me a pro, but maybe you should read past that. I said I beat pros too, idiot. And besides, what makes you so sure you could beat me in brawl or melee? You dont know what Im capable of. Same thing vice versa
  • lakie92 - July 21, 2014 4:16 p.m.

Beating people online means nothing in any fighting game. In fact the people at the top of online leaderboards are considered the more annoying of people in that they don't support there games scene and seem to think they are amazing without proving it at a tournament.
  • cody-vega - January 12, 2014 5:42 p.m.

just because you play tournaments doesn't mean shit most of these videos are mediocre
  • MrArtless - April 14, 2014 4:43 a.m.

I have been playing Nintendo games since I was 2, now almost in my 30's. And I am a total fan, with posters and figurines and six limited edition consoles. I'm just like you...Except for one thing. I hate this article. You may be an administrator, but this article, flat-out, is plain rude. Harsh, Cold, Obnoxious, Mean, Ruthless Rude. Anyone who writes an article like this deserves to be taught a lesson. And that is why... I have reported you and no, I don't care that you're high-ranked on GR. You may not know it, but I guarantee you are hurting at least a hundred people on GR. One simple line of "You MIGHT someday make it" does not cut it or redeem for how obnoxious you were in this article. Literally, you're basically saying to more than half of the Ninty fanbase : "You suck." Allow me to be honest here. I am not against the point of your article: That there are SSB pros out there in the world, even though some people might not know it. But you pointed it out too much. WE. GET. IT. With the level of frequency--your article is rather short, yet you still manage to get so much cruelty into it--of you emphasizing how much people suck at these games, you seriously hurt not only me, but a whole bunch of my friends, who have read this article and complained about it. And that is why I decided to check it out for myself. Dude. Quit. It. You didn't need to put SO MUCH criticism into here. I hope you've learned your lesson.

Boo...freaking...hoo. All i see here is a huge baby that obviously isn't good at the game. You go on this huge rant about how cruel the article is when honestly where's the cruelty? It's honesty. At one point in my life i thought i was the king of this game until i started watching the smash documentary and it was a huge reality check. This is yours. I've honestly never seen such a huge baby on the internet before and that's surprising. Not to mention you and your group of friends are so sensitive it's borderline pathetic. "you seriously hurt not only me, but a whole bunch of my friends" dude really? It's a game, get over it.
  • EliteBouncer - January 14, 2014 1:47 p.m.

Dude, chill out. This article is not even worth reporting, nor will you get any traction by having done so. This wasn't mean spirited or abusive to the fan base in any way. It's like the article is talking to a highschool football team while showing amazing videos of the pros to get everybody pumped. If you just so happen to be a pro level Smash Bros. player then this article (and it's hyperbolic title) don't relate to you. Calm down.
  • MrArtless - April 14, 2014 4:42 a.m.

Sorry but if Mango and Mew2King are say a 10/10 in Melee, you are probably a 2 or a 1. That's how much better than you they are. I am also much much better than you but I'm probably only a 5. Don't whine, just get good.
  • SphericalCrusher - July 7, 2014 6:09 p.m.

You tell him! Also, playing Nintendo games since you were 2? Doubtful... that does not really count anyway. Maybe four? ;) I say that because I to, have been playing Nintendo games around that age - I remember a lot of the games at age four, but before that does not count. I'm 28 now.
  • lenny-boogie-butt-harris - July 20, 2014 3:09 p.m.

I agree! This article was nothing more than lame horse smut! Just trying to start crap and the "better than you" bull is old, NOONE CARES screw who's better, just play the damn game!
  • watevermanimlost - January 10, 2014 3:11 p.m.

I can confidently say I can beat button mashers ..... but that is the length of my expertise..... I can barely wave dash with luigi....
  • marionator - January 10, 2014 10:58 a.m.

Wobbling isn't a glitch, it's just good timing and an exploit of hitstun.
  • Arobadope - January 11, 2014 5:23 p.m.

    Aka glitch.
  • robbie-large - January 10, 2014 8:17 a.m.

Azen the melee player also had a big rivalry with ken as well. It's funny how they mention the one who plays brawl, but not the one who plays melee.
