11 new Halo Reach gameplay screens

First in-game look at next addition to Halo series

US retailer EB Games has something of an exclusive on its website today - the first official screens of Halo: Reach. Whether they were given permission to be post them today is unknown, but they've since appeared elsewhere, including the source of these shots: Voodo Extreme 3D. Check them out below in small-size and with a horrible EB watermark  As soon as full-res versions arrive we'll post 'em.

    if you don't recall the wee big and purple and looked like an enlarged ghost, they hade a turret on top ghost undereath and yo couldnt drive them... bit of bummer really.

    Modern Warfare 2 is great 'cuz of the constant leveling up and one shot kills. I'm kinda tire of shooting some one in Halo a half dozen time just to have them kill me first. The shields used to be fun in multiplayer but now I only like them in single player against covenant. But Halo does have the whole theater mode thing. Modern Warfare 2 should have that so I can figure out how someone killed me after a match is done.

    Thank god they're updating the engine instead of pulling out the outdated original Halo 3 one, not that those graphics are bad but it makes it feel like a new game instead of an exspansion pack like ODST.
    By the time this comes out the halo 3 engine would start getting properly out of date as well.

    As hard as I try I just can't get exctied for halo anymore. ODST was more of the same formula with a few small changes just like this will be. Same old cake, different icing. From Australia with love.
