Looks like there could be a white Xbox One Elite controller on the way

In an act of hybridisation more daring and dangerous than Jurassic Park, straight bananas and a West-Kardashian progeny put together, it looks as though Microsoft might be about to merge their Xbox One Elite controller with the Lunar White limited edition standard controller. Both of them came out on the same day, so I think this is quite a sweet story about love across the tracks, like Pretty Woman but with more nubs.

The speculation's emerged after Microsoft released some new B-roll footage of HoloLens, its augmented reality headset. At 2:50, we see engineers using the 'Lens to construct a 3D model of a new controller - as spotted by Gamerheadquarters, it appears to be an Elite controller with a Lunar colour scheme. Here's a view of the back, complete with golden paddles.

Of course, that could be a simple mock-up for the video - it is a faked-up hologram-thing after all - but why go to the trouble of making it in the first place, I ask you?
