Couldn't make it out to E3? That's not so much of a problem these days as lots of the trailers we see at the show eventually gets released online, and we cover pretty much everything else. But one of the most beautiful things nobody outside of E3 has yet seen is this great gameplay demo for Metro: Last Light.
We're still not quite sure how this ultra-hardcore Ukrainian gem of a first-person shooter managed to become a AAA hit, but here we are. Not to say the game doesn't deserve its success. It is no doubt one of the most unique and inspiring FPS games to hit the market in year (not to mention the cure for Call of Duty fatigue.) We're just a little fuzzy on how this managed to resonate with a gaming public that is increasingly focused on bigger, better, faster multiplayer.
