Suda51 and the games of Grasshopper Manufacture are so ridiculously awesome you can't not love them, and we could say the same about the cult classic Evil Dead/Army of Darkness films. If only they could come together in some way that involves a cross-dressing cheerleader. Wait a minute; what's this new Lollipop Chainsaw trailer have to say?
The English-language publisher for Lollipop Chainsaw revealed some of the 2012 title’s pre-order bonuses today, and that includes one that dresses up protagonist Juliet as Ash from Evil Dead 2. Don’t know Evil Dead 2? Watch one of the greatest moments in cinema history:
Ash’s love for chainsawing things until they’re dead makes him a perfect role model for Juliet, which is why we’re happily surprised to see this reference the cult classic. The rest of the costumes each look fine in their own way, but it’s basically impossible to beat Bruce Campbell’s badass character.
