Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Night's King and his White Walkers in Game of Thrones featurette

It wouldn't be Game of Thrones without big battles, big deaths...and White Walkers. The mystical creatures have been an important part of the series since the very beginning, and HBO has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette which gives us some insight into the impressive work that brings them to life. Check it out below...

These 'Inside Game of Thrones' featurettes are a really smart move by HBO. They don't give much away about the upcoming season - there are a couple great shots of the Night's King wielding his weapon - but they're very interesting and I immediately got a deeper appreciation for the work that goes into creating the show.

The White Walkers were a big part of 'Hardhome' - a.k.a. season 5's best episode - so hopefully we'll be seeing them in action a lot more in the upcoming episodes.

Game of Thrones season 6 premieres on HBO on April 24, 2016 in the US, and on Sky Atlantic a day later in the UK.
