Bloodborne wins Best PlayStation Game at the Golden Joystick Awards

The results are in, and Bloodborne has carved its way through the competition to take home the title of Best PlayStation Game as part of the 2015 Golden Joystick Awards. Technically speaking this is not a Game of the Year award, so we'll have to wait and see if Sony was right to announce a Bloodborne: GOTY Edition in October, but either way, you voted and let the world know that From Software's gothic horror deserves praise.

While Bloodborne took home the trophy, Until Dawn and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection came in 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Surprised by how much people like Until Dawn? So was Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida, who told Eurogamer he was pleased with the market performance of the "sleeper hit." As for Drake, don't feel too bad - he'll get another shot at the crown next year, when Uncharted 4: A Thief's End hits store shelves.
