Biggest gaming petition ever on Change.org asks for GTA 5 on PC

The biggest gaming-related petition ever hosted on Change.org has more than 460,000 signatures pleading for GTA 5 on PC. The petition by Mike Julliard of Toronto, Canada, is the tenth largest global campaign on Change.org ever, a site representative told us, and it's pulled in more than 40,000 signatures since the game launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 on Tuesday.

Rockstar has said only that additional platforms--PC, next-gen, or otherwise--are "up for consideration."

"GTA games have been a large part of so many people's lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform," the petition reads. "Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have."

History dictates that a PC release for GTA 5 is more or less inevitable, not to mention the future of GTA Online, but perhaps this show of support will move up Rockstar's notoriously lengthy announcement/release timetable.

Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo.
