I've found where you can buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, the highly anticipated new set
The newest expansion is due to launch in May, but it's proving hard to track down

You can now buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising if you act fast - I've been able to track down some cards out in the wild, though they don't tend to stay in stock for long.
In other words, speed is of the essence... and that's where I come in. I've been keeping a very close eye on stock for one of the best card games for a long time now, and that means I've got plenty of advice on where to look, where to avoid, and how to make sure you're getting the best possible deal in both the US and UK. If you want to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising with minimal fuss, you're in the right place.
Just bear in mind that prices will be out of whack unless you're very, very quick. Short of hitting up the likes of the Pokemon Center or certain indie retailers right away, you'll have to contend with inflated costs due to demand. The trick is knowing what constitutes a "good" deal for Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, and I'll have advice on fluctuating prices when more pre-orders appear.
Where to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising in the US
At the time of writing, you can buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising at Miniature Market as well as at Walmart. Miniature Market has better prices on the whole, but Walmart has more items listed along with the desirable Booster Box. So, swings and roundabouts.
You can also head over to the likes of TCGPlayer as well, not to mention Amazon, but the thing to bear in mind is that those listings are both overpriced.
Miniature Market
✅ Checklane Blister (Toxel) | $8.99
✅ Booster Bundle | $47.99
After a few weeks of good Chaos Rising stock levels, Miniature Market has sold out of some items. However, it's not all bad. The Booster Bundle is still up for grabs at the time of writing, and a new product - the Toxel Checklane Blister - has now appeared. Equally, items do sometimes come back into stock at a later date. Keep a close eye out!

Walmart
✅ Build & Battle | $59.99
✅ Booster Bundle | $64.99
✅ Elite Trainer Box | $113.99
✅ Booster Box | $238.99
While most Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising pre-orders have dropped in price at Walmart, one particularly notable option - the Booster Bundle - has increased slightly. It's also worth noting that all of these listings are above MSRP. Bear that in mind before hitting checkout, as they may be available for less elsewhere (as an example, the Booster Bundle is currently $17 less via Miniature Market).

Amazon
✅ Booster pack | $17.45
✅ Booster Display Box | $344.92
Amazon has finally entered the chat! However, I wouldn't say its offers are good. Indeed, they are way, way over MSRP and far above what I'm seeing elsewhere. Put a pin in this one.

TCGPlayer
Check for stock at TCGPlayer
You can currently find quite a few listings for Chaos Rising here, but be aware that they're overpriced. I'd normally be wary of this sort of thing because TCGPlayer, brilliant though it is, is full of third-party sellers who can overinflate prices to meet demand. However, it's one of our best options for now.
Best Buy
Check stock at Best Buy
Best Buy is worth checking when you're trying to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, but a lot of its stock will be in-store only. It's impossible to say which items are going to be available online until closer to release, so all you can do is keep checking every now and then. As an example, I'm now seeing the Elite Trainer Box as well as Sleeved Boosters... but it's been slapped with the "coming soon" label, so we can't tell where it'll be available either way.
Target
Check stock at Target
This ol' reliable store always gets Pokemon TCG sets in, but they sell out very quickly. As such, your only hope is visiting regularly and hoping you get lucky.
eBay
Check stock at eBay
As with TCGPlayer, I wouldn't go to eBay unless you have no other choice. That's because it'll be full of resellers trying to rinse you out of as much money as possible, but it is an option if you're desperate to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising.
Pokemon Center
Check stock at Pokemon Center
As the official store for all things Pokemon, this obviously had Chaos Rising stock... but it was snapped up almost instantly. That's very true for the Pokemon Center in general; worth a try, but not one to rely on.
Where to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising in the UK
I've not been able to find anywhere you can buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising in the UK today, and the closest I've come are Prerelease events at Zatu Games (where you pay for entry and get a Build & Battle pack for use in the event) and listings at Smyths Toys. In other words, it's still all to play for. Keep checking the following in case they get stock!
Zatu Games
✅ In-person Prerelease events (£25)
I'm not seeing classic options to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising at Zatu, but there are Prerelease event tickets. These don't get you a physical product up front, but if you head to the in-person event in Norwich, you'll be given a Build & Battle kit to use in the event itself.

Smyths Toys
Check stock at Smyths Toys
Smyths Toys always gets cards in nice and early, and that's the case here... but I can't actually click through on the listings. Are they in stock? Are they in-store only? I'm not sure, so keep a very close eye on this retailer.
Wayland Games
Check stock at Wayland Games
Of all the UK retailers stocking Pokemon, I'd go to this one first. It's the most reliable in terms of stock at RRP, though that does mean it sells out incredibly quickly.
Amazon
Check stock at Amazon
Although it's an obvious choice, Amazon's been the most reliable source of Pokemon cards recently - and I don't think that'll change it's time to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising. That's because it's started a 'invite by request' system that offers products at the normal RRP. That's a rarity these days.
Magic Madhouse
Check stock at Magic Madhouse
This indie retailer tends to be a good source of Pokemon TCG, but it often gets stock in later than everyone else. That was exactly what happened for Chaos Rising, as it dropped listings which then sold out fast.
Pokemon Center
Check stock at Pokemon Center
If in doubt, go to the source - but don't trust to hope that you'll find much in stock. These items sell out almost instantly, so I wouldn't have much hope of finding anything here.
Where to buy other Pokemon TCG sets
It's true that Chaos Rising is playing things coy for now, but you can pick up other Pokemon TCG cards if you know where to look (and are happy for it not to be a hot-off-the-presses expansion). While you can find dedicated guides like our roundup of where to buy Pokemon TCG Perfect Order, I've tried to cut out the middle-man below if you're short on time - our price-matching software will bring you the latest offers on a range of sets, new and old.

Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising FAQ
Want the lowdown on all things Chaos Rising, and the state of the Pokemon TCG in general? Not a problem. In short, this is the latest expansion for the long-running card game; it's not necessary to play, but adds plenty of cool new features. To be precise, it hurls five more Mega Evolution Pokemon ex our way, adds five Pokemon ex, introduces a host of illustration/special illustration rare Pokemon, and includes 18 ultra rare Pokemon and Trainer cards.
Here's everything else you need to know.
What is a "good" price for Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising?
Because of demand and the whiles of resellers, the cost of Pokemon cards can fluctuate wildly. That's why it's helpful to know what constitutes a "good" deal. To start with, here's the recommended price for a few Chaos Rising items, direct from Pokemon:
Booster Bundle: $26.94
Elite Trainer Box: $59.99
Booster Display Box: $161.64
However, you'll be very lucky to see those products anywhere near that cost. As such, a decent price for the Booster Bundle is anywhere around $50 or below; it's normally much closer to $60/$70. Similarly, the Elite Trainer Box is more commonly $100+ but can drop to $89.99 if you're lucky. That would constitute a "good" price in my eyes because I never see anything lower than that after the first day of pre-orders. As for the Booster Display Box, anything around $180 is amazing... but you're more likely to be staring down the barrel of a $200+ price tag.
When is Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising releasing?
You'll be able to get your hands on Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising is due to launch on May 22, 2026. However, it's going to be available early at prerelease events from May 9. In addition, digital players will be able to grab it on TCG Live from May 21.
When will Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising pre-orders go live?
We don't know when we'll be able to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, because The Pokemon Company doesn't usually give out that info - the cards just appear without warning. Nonetheless, the first offers typically pop up shortly after the initial expansion announcement, so there's a chance we'll see some movement soon.
Why is Pokemon TCG so hard to buy?
Unfortunately, it's incredibly difficult to get hold of Pokemon cards both new and old right now, and there's a couple of reasons for that. Reason number one: demand. An absurd number of us are trying to find products, and I'm not sure there are enough products to keep up. Second, resellers. These are unscrupulous individuals who buy up as much as they can to resell at an absurd markup. Don't buy from them, as it'll encourage them to keep trying.
Still, there's a chance things will improve in the not-so-distant future. That's because Pokemon is acquiring US trading card game distributor - our stock woes could be about to change.
