Here's where you can buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, the highly anticipated new set
The newest expansion is out now

4. FAQ
The set is now officially out, so you'll need to move quickly if you want to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising cards. Luckily, you're in the right place; I've been tracking down stock across a variety of stores like a Pokemon trainer trying to find a shiny pocket monster, all so you don't have to. You'll find the results below.
No matter what, speed is of the essence. I've spent a long time watching stock for the best card games, which means I've got a good idea of where to look, which stores to avoid, and what you can expect, but there's always one consistent fact: you need to move quick. Expansions like this are snapped up fast, so you need to embody a speeding Ponyta if you want to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising. (The same will be true if you want to buy Pokemon TCG Pitch Black, the next set that follows this one.)
Just bear in mind that prices will be out of whack across the board. Costs become wildly inflated unless you're able to dive in on day one of pre-orders going live, so the trick becomes knowing what a "good" deal for Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising is despite prices going above MSRP. I've called that out throughout this guide, helping you work out if you're better off waiting or diving in.
Where to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising in the US
It's a good time to be trying to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising; plenty of stores have stock right now. While most retailers are shopping inflated costs across the board, most items are very reasonably priced at Miniature Market... but they probably won't last long as a result. If that fails, Walmart leads the pack in terms of variety, followed by Amazon. Head straight there if you're on the prowl for cards.
Walmart
✅ 3-Pack Blister | $32.95
✅ Booster Bundle | $49.49
✅ Build & Battle Box | $64.99
✅ Elite Trainer Box | $84.99
✅ Booster Box | $234.99
Walmart is probably your best option if you want to buy Chaos Rising, and it has some decent prices too. However, just bear in mind that it's offering stock way above MSRP. That's sadly common when it comes to Pokemon cards, but is still worth bearing in mind.

Miniature Market
✅ 3-Pack Blister | $29.99
✅ Booster Bundle | $47.99
✅ Elite Trainer Box | $89.99
✅ Booster Box | $249.99
This reliable indie retailer is back with new stock at a very reasonable price, so if you want to buy Pokemon Chaos Rising, it's a solid option. It could be providing one of the best offers I've seen for an Elite Trainer Box too. Yes, it's overpriced beyond MSRP - but you won't find it for much less right now.

Amazon
✅ Booster pack | $12.83
✅ 3-Pack Blister | $39.95
✅ Booster Bundle | $57.44
✅ Build & Battle Box | $68.57
✅ Elite Trainer Box | $102.55
Amazon's holding its own in terms of stock right now, and while some costs are higher than I'm seeing elsewhere (like the Booster Display Box, to the point it's not even showing right now), it's still similar enough to make it a good option to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising.

Target
✅ Booster | $17.99
✅ x2 Elite Trainer Box | $218.99
✅ x2 Booster Boxes | $549.99
This ol' reliable store always gets Pokemon TCG sets in, and there are plenty of Chaos Rising listings available. However, these are either overpriced or only available as bundles.

TCGPlayer
Check for stock at TCGPlayer
You can currently find quite a few listings for Chaos Rising here, but be aware that they're overpriced. I'd normally be wary of this sort of thing because TCGPlayer, brilliant though it is, is full of third-party sellers who can overinflate prices to meet demand. However, it's one of our best options for now.
eBay
Check stock at eBay
As with TCGPlayer, I wouldn't go to eBay unless you have no other choice. That's because it'll be full of resellers trying to rinse you out of as much money as possible, but it is an option if you're desperate to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising.
Where to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising in the UK
Stock remains much as it was at the beginning of the week; if you want to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, head straight to Amazon. Even though it's using the 'invite by request' system that doesn't guarantee you'll be able to buy Pokemon Chaos Rising, that does mean most items will be at RRP if you make it through.
Amazon
✅ 3-Pack Blister | £12.99
✅ Booster Bundle | £23.94
✅ Elite Trainer Box | £44.99
✅ Booster Display | £71.82
✅ Booster Box | £243
We finally have signs of life at Amazon, and you can now buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising there. As usual, it's using the 'invite by request' system that allows you a chance to snap up products at the normal RRP (well, apart from the Booster Box - that's a massive markup).

Smyths Toys
Check stock at Smyths Toys
Smyths Toys always gets cards in nice and early, and that's the case here... but I can't actually click through on the listings. Are they in stock? Are they in-store only? I'm not sure, so keep a very close eye on this retailer.
Wayland Games
Check stock at Wayland Games
This reliable indie store is a great source of Pokemon cards, but unfortunately, everyone else knows it. Everything's now out of stock, and it doesn't usually get restocks.
Zatu Games
Check stock at Zatu Games
Any stock Zatu had seems to be gone, so if you're hoping to buy Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising, I'd look elsewhere for now.
Magic Madhouse
Check stock at Magic Madhouse
This indie retailer tends to be a good source of Pokemon TCG, but it often gets stock in later than everyone else. That was exactly what happened for Chaos Rising, as it dropped listings which then sold out fast.
Where to buy other Pokemon TCG sets
It's true that Chaos Rising is playing things coy for now, but you can pick up other Pokemon TCG cards if you know where to look (and are happy for it not to be a hot-off-the-presses expansion). While you can find dedicated guides like our roundup of where to buy Pokemon TCG Perfect Order, I've tried to cut out the middle-man below if you're short on time - our price-matching software will bring you the latest offers on a range of sets, new and old.
Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising FAQ
Want the lowdown on all things Chaos Rising, and the state of the Pokemon TCG in general? Not a problem. In short, this is the latest expansion for the long-running card game; it's not necessary to play, but adds plenty of cool new features. To be precise, it hurls five more Mega Evolution Pokemon ex our way, adds five Pokemon ex, introduces a host of illustration/special illustration rare Pokemon, and includes 18 ultra rare Pokemon and Trainer cards.

When is Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising out?
You'll be able to get your hands on Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising from now, as it launched on May 22, 2026. However, some lucky souls may have gotten it early - it was available at prerelease events from May 9. In addition, digital players could grab it on TCG Live from May 21.
What is a "good" price for Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising?
Because of demand and the whiles of resellers, the cost of Pokemon cards can fluctuate wildly. That's why it's helpful to know what constitutes a "good" deal. To start with, here's the recommended price for a few Chaos Rising items, direct from Pokemon:
Booster Bundle: $26.94
Elite Trainer Box: $59.99
Booster Display Box: $161.64
However, you'll be very lucky to see those products anywhere near that cost. As such, a decent price for the Booster Bundle is anywhere around $50 or below; it's normally much closer to $60/$70. Similarly, the Elite Trainer Box is more commonly $100+ but can drop to $89.99 if you're lucky. That would constitute a "good" price in my eyes because I never see anything lower than that after the first day of pre-orders. As for the Booster Display Box, anything around $180 is amazing... but you're more likely to be staring down the barrel of a $200+ price tag.
Why is Pokemon TCG so hard to buy?
Unfortunately, it's incredibly difficult to get hold of Pokemon cards both new and old right now, and there's a couple of reasons for that. Reason number one: demand. An absurd number of us are trying to find products, and I'm not sure there are enough products to keep up. Second, resellers. These are unscrupulous individuals who buy up as much as they can to resell at an absurd markup. Don't buy from them, as it'll encourage them to keep trying.
Still, there's a chance things will improve in the not-so-distant future. That's because Pokemon is acquiring US trading card game distributor - our stock woes could be about to change.
