A new trailer has dropped online for Stephen Daldry’s new movie, Trash, in which a trio of Brazilian kids find more than they bargained for when they stumble across an abandoned wallet at their local dump. Before long, their discovery is threatening to lift the lid on a whole viper’s nest of “corruption and injustice”…
The new trailer is a little muddled in communicating the plot of the film, with Rooney Mara and Martin Sheen’s involvement particularly unclear. They play an aid worker and a priest respectively, in case you were wondering. The good guys, basically. Check out the new trailer, below…
We could have done without the ludicrous trailer-man voiceover to be fair (“in this place, there’s no such thing as a clean break”), but it looks like an exciting ride, nonetheless. Directed by Daldry and co-starring Gabriel Weinstein, Eduardo Luis and Rickson Tevez, Trash will open in the US on October 9, 2015 and the UK on January 30, 2016.
