Zombies are a spreading plague both in and outside of games, as no title seems to exist without the brain-gnawing undead. Though in some cases, like with Capcom and Slant Six’s Resident Evil side game Operation Racoon City, it can be forgiven. First of all it’s connected to classic entries in the series, and instead of a rag-tag group of survivors, you play as special operatives out to quell the zombie insurgents. As this glossy CG footage shows, no matter how good you are at blowing up corpses or stabbing long-tongued zombies, your training can only take you so far. Sometimes you can’t predict things like surprisingly tenacious civilians or unkillable super zombies, so let that be a lesson to all you would-be zombie hunters out there.
