Harmonix has announced the first seven tracks to appear in Guitar Hero II, the sequel to its much-loved rock-in-a-box PS2 game.
Perhaps the most exciting inclusion on the list (which will be appearing in playable form at E3) is Black Sabbath's War Pigs. The verses may confuse rock virgins (who will be left watching a rather barren note stream before the power chords kick in), but if there was ever a track ripe for air guitar, this is it.
Of the others, you'll get to rock along to Gene Simmons and friends with Strutter by Kiss, and Van Halen's version of the Kinks' You Really Got Me should be worth more than a little whammy bar abuse.
We'll bring you more on Guitar Hero II very soon. For now, cast your eye down the confirmed tracks below andstart practicing your guitar face.
Arterial Black (Drist)
Psychobilly Freakout (The Reverend Horton Heat)
Strutter (Kiss)
Who Was in My Room Last Night (The Butthole Surfers)
You Really Got Me (Van Halen version of The Kinks' classic)
YYZ (Rush)
War Pigs (Black Sabbath)
