I Got Next: How to build a haunted house
Haunted houses are inherently ridiculous. Walking inside comes with an inherent acknowledgement of the house's artifice: you know it's all fake. People made it, not spirits. Surrender is also an inherent aspect of the experience, though. Giving yourself over to the house means you're willing to be scared. You want to be frightened. But frightening the aware, the willing, the surrendered is no easy task in real life and in games. How do you do it? We're asking the experts.
Today on I Got Next, we're playing Soma alongside John Huntington, the audio/visual designer of famed haunted hotel Gravesend Inn. It all starts at 3:30PM ET/12:30PM PT.
