The Razer Pikachu and Eevee Collection follows on from the brand's Espeon and Umbreon release just ten days ago. While our dark psychics took on more of a nightglow appearance, though, the Let's Go duo is looking a little brighter.
The all-pink Razer accessory set combines the adorably snoozy Pokémon with a baby pink aesthetic that will sit well in any cosy gaming setup. The full collection is mostly PC-focused here, with the Razer Ornata V3 TKL keyboard, Razer Cobra mouse, and Razer Gigantus V2 mouse pad. Nintendo Switch players can also get involved with the Razer Kraken V4X headset, though.
Like many of its themed drops, Razer's Pikachu and Eevee Collection focuses on the cheaper gadgets in the brand's arsenal. That means this isn't the way to upgrade your tech's specs or features if you've already got one of the best gaming keyboards or the best gaming headset. It does, however, plant two little sleepy fluffers on your desk - at a considerable markup.
As with all limited edition releases, you're paying a premium for that print. The Kraken V4 X headset usually ships at $79.99, so it represents the most egregious price jump in this roster. That Pokémon outfit will set you back a full $109.99, a rate that can easily net you a more sophisticated headset like the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless. In its base black color, the Razer Ornata goes for $69.99 - for the Pikachu privilege, you're paying $119.99.
Yes, licenses are expensive, and I'm not here to quash your fandom. If you're looking to get the best value out of your baby pink glow up, though, I'd concentrate on the Razer Cobra mouse and Gigantus mouse pad.
At $59.99, the Razer Cobra is still about $20 more expensive than you'll find it otherwise - but it's a much smaller price to pay for that special edition print. Plus, the Cobra itself holds up with a good set of specs that will see casual players through particularly well. The Kraken V4 X and Ornata? Not so much.
Then there's the cheapest in today's haul, the Razer Giganuts V2 mouse pad. This is where I'd recommend you start. After all, there's far less that can go wrong with a pad, and Razer's Gigantus is pretty solid for $30.
