Halo Reach tips

A Simple Way To Kill A Hunter (Energy Sword)

Anywhere with a Hunter and an Energy Sword.

When you are versing a Hunter and you have an Energy Sword, hit it from the front with the sword. This should stun the Hunter and give you time to run around it and make a nice slash in its back "weak spot"

When playing on legendary the best weapons for you to use would be a plasma pistol and and any other single shot weapons like the DMR,MAGNUM PISTOL or NEEDLE RIFLE. This is very effective on elites. All you have to do is charge up your plasma pistol shoot the elite, when it hits him it takes away his enegy shield then switch to your DMR etc.. and aim for its head if u hit his head and shoot takes 1 to 2 shots to kill.

New Alexandra 8th Mission

a building with swarm of flying things in there

On the mission new Alexandra there's a building where after you deactivate the jammer a swarm of Locusts flying things come after you, on the right hand side of the building somewhere on the 2nd or 3rd floor, there's a marine that freaks out and says alot of funny things, he will say different things each difficulty.

Armor Lock Glitch

Forge

The armor lock glitch makes you invulnerable to anything, as well as being able to push things around(still vulnerable to assassination). You need to people to do this. You have on person make 2 armor locks right next to each other. then the one person picks one up. The person in edit mode will go to the item options and go to the delete all icon but don't click. the person with the armor lock will activate and hold until the person in edit mode presses delete all. Then you are invulnerable until an enemy assassinates you. Fiendly fire won't take it away.

Easiest Way To Gain Credits

Xbox Live Matchmaking

You will need Xbox Live to perform this trick. First, enter the playlist "score attack" from the cooperative matchmaking subsection. This playlist can only be used by one person at a time (parties of more than one will not be allowed in). Once you have come to the loading screen where you are allowed to vote on a game, choose the one that has a game type of "gruntpocalypse". If you complete the objective, which is fairly easy to complete, you will earn an average of 1500-2000 credits a match.

Lower Your Weapon

Local Game

Press/hold down on the d-pad, RS, reload and switch grenade.: Lowers your gun.

Skull Effects

GOLD SKULLS

IRON - Restarts mission from last checkpoint when you die in co-op, restarts the whole mission in single player.

BLACK EYE - Shields are only recharged by melee attack kills, you can achieve overshields by doing this as well.

TOUGH LUCK: Enemies always berserk, always dive, but never flee.

CATCH: Enemies have unlimited grenades

FOG: No motion sensor

FAMINE: Ammo picked up or received is greatly reduced.

THUNDERSTORM: All enemies will become their highest rank, ex. grunts will become ultra grunts

TILT: Enemy Armour will become much more difficult to rid of.

MYTHIC: Enemies have double the health and armor usually given.

Brute Dance Party Easter Egg

During Mission 7, once you get to the Club Errera part of the mission, head back to the hospital. Fly to a ledge below the usual entrance. When you get out you should see a green light switch. Once found, activate it and go back to Club Errera. The song "Never Surrender" will be playing. If you return to the dance club after you clear it out (Hunters included) then a Brute DJ will be spinning records, a Brute tends the bar and Grunts dance.

If you want to change the music again, go back to your Falcon and fly to the roof of Club Errera. Activate the switch on the roof under the vent and the song "Siege of Madrigal" will now be playing in the club.
