That Sean Murray, what's he like? The co-founder and managing director of Hello Games is teasing something for No Man's Sky, using his favorite method: emojis. Singular emojis, just getting sent out on social media for fans to draw all sorts of wild conclusions.
The first one in this latest round is a stadium, posted on April 6. Just one, solitary open-air venue, left to percolate in people's minds. It got so much traction, he trended on Twitter, for however much that's worth nowadays.

The theories, as you may expect, are wild. "They’re bringing back Google Stadia," says one Reddit commenter who I'm choosing to believe is being deadly serious. "Gladiator arenas being added to both games," another says, still tongue-in-cheek, referring to The Last Campfire, the other big release from Hello Games.
"World Cup-inspired futbol using gravitino coil," reads another suggestion. This actually seems somewhat likely, at least insofar as the crossover with the World Cup. "Save some emojis for Light No Fire buddy," says a response on Twitter, gesturing to the next release from Hello Games.
Others are merely poking fun at Murray's incessantly weird methods for PR. "Look for my emoji, at first light on the third day. At dawn, look to the patch notes," reads the top comment in another Reddit thread, with a gif of Gandalf's iconic return during the Battle of the Black Gate in The Lord of the Rings. We'll be keeping a keen eye out for those patch notes, to be sure. Murray probably won't be too coy about those when the time comes.
