Rob vaults and hack minds with your squad in techno-thriller heist shooter Den of Wolves

The year is 2067 and the world is chaos, following a co-ordinated series of AI-driven cyberattacks that destroyed global data and brought civilization to its knees. From these ruins the biggest corporations joined forces to create a safe haven free of artificial intelligence and, as seen during the Future Games Show at gamescom, this is where Den of Wolves takes place.

While Midway City quickly becomes the nerve center for international trade, it's far from a utopia. To combat the global security threats a new form of data storage and transmission is developed based on the human brain, and while this successfully thwarts the AI attacks it also raises plenty of moral and ethical questions in this unregulated innovation zone.

Working for rival businesses to complete "unauthorized errands", you and your friends are criminals-for-hire who must plan, prepare, and execute daring heists to achieve your objectives. Prep involves carrying out sabotage, espionage, theft, and even assassination missions to gather the intel, weapons, and tools required to carry out your chosen heist plan. While you may use stealth and subterfuge to infiltrate your target undetected, it's guaranteed that you'll end up "going loud" at some point and engaging in frenetic shootouts with the guards.

Along with the traditional vaults that need to be cracked and ransacked, there are neural-linked targets that require biological hacking. This shifts you from the real to virtual world as you attempt to infiltrate different scenarios in their mind palace, and switching from firefights to these trippy sections provides additional variety amidst the action.

Den of Wolves is coming to PC at an undisclosed future date, but you can wishlist it now on Steam, visit the interactive website, or join the Discord to stay up to date with all of the latest information on the next big job.
