Accept Death's invitation to team up and restore balance to shattered realms in Gods, Death & Reapers

Gods, Death & Reapers is set in a fantasy world where diverse mythologies previously existed side by side, but an apocalyptic event has now cast it into ruins. Death himself has recruited you restore balance here, and as seen during the Future Games Show at gamescom you now have the opportunity to try it for yourself by signing up to the Steam playtest.

Formerly known as Project Pantheon, Gods, Death & Reapers is described as an ExtrAction RPG as it blends hack and slash mechanics with risk vs reward extraction gameplay to raise the stakes high. In this dark fantasy world, escaping with valuable loot will help you to progress, but if you die you could lose it all.

Starting from your hidden fortress Sanctuary, you can upgrade your base, customize your loadout, and trade rewards you've extracted with other players. You can then choose which map to head to for your next quest, based on the valuable loot and unique objectives they offer.

As you battle against those that remain in these godless realms, you'll harvest gear and materials to improve your character while seeking out precious loot to secure and extract. In addition to PvP combat with these enemies you'll also face other players as Reapers in PvE fights, though fair rules and strong anti-cheat measures are promised to ensure match ups are balanced yet challenging.

Gods, Death & Reapers is coming to PC via Steam, and although it doesn't have a release date set you can wishlist it now on Steam, as well as sign up to the playtest while you're there for an early look.
