If you plan on downloading Fallout 4 (opens in new tab), Bethesda plans to give you "a few days" worth of lead time. The publisher confirmed via its official Twitter account that it will offer pre-loading for the upcoming post-nuclear role-playing game ahead of its November 10 release date:
We can confirm that #Fallout4 will have pre-loading on Xbox One, PS4, and PC so you have a few days to download the game before 11/10October 26, 2015
Bethesda didn't specify what day pre-loads will go live, but you can at least start clearing out some hard drive space while you're waiting for the green light; Fallout 4 will take up between 28 to 35GB of storage (opens in new tab) on consoles, depending on your particular territory and languages (those 110,000 lines of voiced dialogue (opens in new tab) don't come cheap).
