It sounds like a confusing whirl of light and sound, and it kind of plays that way too. Things get really out of control when enemies appear on the screen and start shooting multicolored globs at you. Even so, after a few minutes with EEE, we were hooked. Bearing the same highly addictive properties asthe creations Mizuguchi is known for(puzzler Lumines and abstract shooter Rez, to name two), Every Extend Extra hypnotizes you with its flashing lightshow while simultaneously teasing your frustration levels with challenging and unorthodox gameplay.
The multiplayer game caught us completely off guard and seemed like an intergalactic volleyball match where the chain reactions you set off buffeted a giant planetoid over to your friend's PSP. Of course, it was then your friend's job to try and bounce the giant globe back to your PSP by creating their own chain of exploding diamonds. A simple concept done up in a complex mesh of color and sound.
Due out sometime in November, Every Extend Extra captured our eyes, ears and fingers in a very short period of time. This is definitely one game that PSP players are going to want to keep a close eye on.
