The Boys season 5 is here, and it's already brought with it a pitch-perfect Marvel parody.

In the new episode, which fans are already saying is leaving them "literally breathless," A-Train gets a big hero moment before his untimely death.
Article continues belowIn a delightfully accurate parody of the Quicksilver scenes in the Fox X-Men movies, time seems to slow down for A-Train during the Freedom Camp breakout, and he uses the moment to move things around to get Mother's Milk and Hughie out of danger before normal speed resumes.
This is a spot on spoof of Evan Peters's Quicksilver, who slowed time in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse.
"They gave A-Train his Quicksilver moment before killing him. At least he was able to ragebait Homelander at the end. Great start to the season," says one fan on Reddit.
"He got his time in a bottle scene!! It was like 2 seconds long and he did two things but goddammit at-least we got one," says another person.

Sadly, though, A-Train doesn't survive the episode. After stumbling from dodging an innocent woman in his path as he flees Homelander – in a full circle moment from his first scene in the series – Homelander catches up to A-Train and breaks his neck. RIP.
