This is England's second group match after playing Croatia last week, and it'll be the first time England and Ghana have played one another in a World Cup.
While England are the favorites in their group and Ghana are ranked 74th overall, that doesn't mean there won't be a surprise in this match: football is hard to predict, and the Ghana squad, aka the Black Stars, have the expertise of manager Carlos Queiroz on their side. He's the second manager in history to coach teams in five consecutive world cups: South Africa in 2022, Portugal in 2010 and Iran three times. The squad also features Antoine Semenyo, one of the Premier League's most impressive performers, who's spent the season testing his skills against many of England's best players.
Unlike last weekend's Scotland match, England fans won't have to stay up late to catch this one: kick-off is at 9am UK time (4pm EST / 6am the following morning for AEST).
As with all World Cup matches the broadcasting and streaming rights are split between multiple organisations depending on where you are in the world, with free streaming in some countries and free trials of paid-for services in others. Here's how to watch England vs Ghana on the 23rd of June (24th in Australia).
