Where Gamers Should Go - Japan edition
See the sights
It's the mooooost, wonderfullll tiiiiime, of the yearrrrrr. No, not the holidays--the week of Tokyo Game Show, a chance for video game enthusiasts, colossal publishing companies, and gamez jurnalizts to all convene in the motherland we call Japan. Y'know, the birthplace of such titans of our industry as Nintendo, Sega, Konami, Sony, Capcomthe list goes on. If you ever get the chance to attend TGS, take it immediately.
And that brings us to today's feature, which marks the start of a series we thought sounded like a good idea a year ago: Where Gamers Should Go. These bite-sized videos tell you the best gamer culture hotspots you should visit when you're trekking abroad, like the cooler version of the Travel Channel. In honor of Tokyo Game Show 2013 going on right now, we though it'd be the perfect time to show you which Japanese locales are a must for GamesRadar-minded tourists. If nothing else, these videos give you a chance to see a young (as in, one year younger) Lucas and Henry talk awkwardly on-camera.

Stellar Blade director "grew up too poor to afford" a PS1, but when he finally got one in college, Ridge Racer and Final Fantasy inspired him to make games
Oh, that's why the Stellar Blade devs were terrified by demo players: one fan's spent "about 60 hours" maxing Eve's skill tree before the action RPG is even out
