Namco Bandai's junk-rolling Prince has been pegged to star in a brand new Katamari game for Sony's PS Vita. Unveiled under its working title, Katamari Damacy, the portable entry will be a launch title for the PS Vita and utilize its front and rear touch sensors to introduce new features to the long running franchise.

The game was revealed at TGS 2011, along with this odd-ball trailer introducing Katamari Damacy's new 'Stretch' and 'Squeeze' abilities:

“One of the coolest new features is the ability to use the rear touch pad of the PS Vita to S-T-R-E-T-C-H and SQUEEZE that katamari both horizontally and vertically to pick the world around you in ways never before done in a Katamari game,” wrote Namco Bandai's Rich Bantegui on the US PlayStation Blog. “You’ll be rolling up everything from the tiniest of ants to the enormous masses of Earth like Mount Fuji and BEYOND!”
