Just Cause 3's wingsuit falls just short of a jetpack, and the game's first big DLC expansion will remove that distinction entirely. But what could possibly challenge Rico Rodriguez once he completes his transformation from human revolutionary into vengeful wind god? A Sky Fortress, duh.
Most sensible people would scramble jet fighters or fire missiles at a floating paramilitary facility full of killer robots. Rico naturally launches himself at the problem using a newly upgraded Bavarium Wingsuit, doing strafing runs with a shoulder-mounted cannon like the gosh-darned Iron Man. I feel sorry for Just Cause 3's soon-to-be-neglected selection of aerial assault vehicles, particularly because you'll be able to take all of his new gear back into the main game.
Avalanche Studios says Just Cause 3: Sky Fortress will include several new missions, weapons, and challenges, and should take about 3 to 4 hours to clear. It will come out in March, and the next two parts of the $24.99/£19.99 season pass - Mech Land Assault and Bavarium Sea Heist - are planned for release by the end of the summer. Sky Fortress will also be available outside of the season pass for $11.99/£9.49. Here's a picture of one of those land mechs, just to prove how serious Avalanche is about this gleefully ludicrous DLC plan.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar.
