The Humble Bundle crew is giving gamers an opportunity to run, jump, shoot, and build their way to good karma with the launch of The Humble Voxatron Debut. Unlike previous Humble indie Bundle promotions, this new fundraiser is built around one lead indie game, Lexaloffle Games' Voxatron alpha, with the option to receive Blocks That Matter and The Binding of Isaac as bonus games for paying over the average price. No matter the donation, players can split their payment between each developer, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Child's Play charity, or the Humble Bundle organization itself.
Available for PC or Mac, Voxatron is best described as the love child of 3D Dot Game Heroes and Minecraft. It stars a 3D pixelated hero with a pea shooter who must brave a retro-styled world and its beasties, all of which are built using the same three-dimensional pixels (aka Voxels). One of the biggest bullet points of the game is the ability to create environments and characters from the ground up using a robust Voxde level editor. Those who purchase The Humble Voxatron Debut will also have access to future game and editor updates.
