Clap along to Pharrell's "Happy" in Dance Central Spotlight

Do a little dance

Do a little dance

You've secretly danced to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" by now, right? No? Well, I don't believe you. Fine, maybe you're just singing it in the shower. Either way, it's coming to Dance Central Spotlight, Harmonix's newest game in the popular franchise where you get to dance like no one is watching from the comfort of your own home.

It's only available as a digital download for the Xbox One this September and we're told that it's cheap. Not exactly how cheap, but it is said that it will be "affordable." It comes with 10 songs to start with including: "Wake Me Up" by Avicii, "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic, "Show Me" by Kid Ink ft. Chris Brown and "Talk Dirty" by Jason Derulo ft. 2 Chainz.

It's a dancing game, so there's only so much you can do to adjust the formula after each iteration. But using the new Kinect, there's supposed to be improved skeletal tracking to make sure you've got the moves right. There's also 8 routines per song, so you don't get bored of the same choreography. If you're doing it right, you're likely working up a sweat anyway, but there are fitness routines included to get that heart rate up.

Suck at dancing? That's great! An in-song Practice That mode can be summoned with the voice command "DJ, practice that!" No one will judge you. Now if you've been dancing around for years and have accumulated a ton of add-on content for the series, you can bring them over to Dance Central Spotlight at no additional cost and it'll come with new alternate routines. Pretty sweet!
