Assassins Creed Syndicates London had to, wait for the tech to catch up

Ever since we first explored the vast Kingdom of the original Assassin's Creed, we've known the series was always going to get bigger. From Brotherhood's richly varied Rome to Black Flag's open-ocean, AC loves a bit of scope. So it's fitting that this year's Assassin's Creed Syndicate is aiming for the most ambitious setting yet, an imposing Victorian London. In the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, creative director Marc-Alexis Côté from new lead studio Ubisoft Quebec explains that Syndicate's vast and vibrant city dwelling (which will make its PC debut a whole month after the PS4 version) wasn't possible until the arrival of current-gen tech. The same tech that brought Ubisoft Montreal's bustling Parisian metropolis to life in last year's offering, Unity.
