The Team: A gang from Coney Island, Brooklyn, The Warriors are led by Cleon (Dorsey Wright).

They’re framed for the murder of the leader of the Gramercy Riffs gang and are targeted by rival gang the Rogues.

Key Member: Cleon, who calls himself a ‘warlord’.

The Team: An ancient society at war with the Chang Sing clan.

They have powerful magicians on their side in the shape of ‘The Three Storms’.

Key Member: Leader Lo Pan (James Hong), a merciless sorcerer.

Greatest Team Work: The Wing Kong take out the Chang Sing during a funeral procession.

The Mighty Ducks – The Mighty Ducks (1992)

The Team: District 5 PeeWee hockey team, which includes team-mates Charlie Conway (Joshua Jackson), Fulton Reed (Elden Henson) and Tommy (Danny Tamberelli) and Tammy Duncan (Jane Plank).

Key Member: Conway, who new coach Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) believes has a reservoir of untapped potential…

Greatest Team Work: The Ducks go all the way to the championships against sworn enemies the Hawks.

Conans Team – Conan The Barbarian (1982)

The Team: A trio consisting of Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger), archer Subotai (Gerry Lopez) and brigand Valeria (Sandahl Bergman).

Key Member: Conan – it’s his mission to slay Doom, the warrior who killed his family.

Also, y’know, the film’s named after him.

Greatest Team Work: The trio break into the Temple of Set in order to rescue King Osric’s kidnapped daughter.

The Actors – Tropic Thunder (2008)

The Team: Charisma machines Tugg Speedman (Ben Stiller), Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), Alpa Chino (Brandon T. Jackson) and Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black).

They’re filming Tropic Thunder when they find themselves in the middle of a real war.

Key Member: Kirk Lazarus, simply because he’s freakin’ awesome.

Greatest Team Work: When Speedman’s captured and tortured, the rest of the guys plan a rescue based on the film’s script.

The Furious Five – Kung Fu Panda (2008)

The Team: Trained by Master Shifu, the Furious Five are a quintet of kung fu masters comprised of Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper, and Crane.

Key Member: Po (Jack Black), who’s selected as the mythical Dragon Warrior by Shifu’s mentor, Oogway.

Is he up to the task, though?

Greatest Team Work: The first Furious Five fight scene in Kung Fu Panda 2 , in which Po and the Five defend a village from invading wolf bandits.

Beautiful stuff.

The Norsemen – The 13th Warrior (1999)

The Team: A group of 13 warriors (well, 12, the 13th member is court poet Ahmed ibn Fadlan) who set out to save a kingdom in the north from ancient evil.

Key Member: Ahmed ibn Fadlan (Antonio Banderas), the only non-warrior and ritually mocked by the Norsemen.

Greatest Team Work:
The team, though dwindling in numbers, manage to defeat the Wendol by entering the cave where its mother lives and killing it.

The Losers – The Losers (2010)

The Team: US Special Forces operatives, this black ops team consists of Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Jensen (Chris Evans), Cougar (Óscar Jaenada), Roque (Idris Elba) and Pooch (Columbus Short).

Key Member: New recruit/ally Aisha (Zoe Saldana), who offers Clay and his team the chance to get revenge on their traitor boss, Max

Greatest Team Work: Their opening Bolivian mission, which sees them attempting to save slave children… only to be double crossed.

Commando Elite – Small Soldiers (1998)

The Team: Toy soldiers led by Chip Hazard (Tommy Lee Jones).

Their sworn enemies are the alien Gorgonites.

Key Member: Chip, naturally.

Just look who voices him.

Greatest Team Work: The Commando Elite attack Alan’s (Gregory Smith) house with heavy artillery.

Sure, their chips end up fried, but before that they put up one heck of a fight.

Retired Agents – Red (2010)

The Team: Former black ops CIA agents who come out of retirement when Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) is targeted by assassins.

Key Member: Victoria (Helen Mirren), purely because she looks amazing firing a really ginormous gun.

Greatest Team Work: The team finally confront Cooper (Karl Urban) at the film’s eventful climax.
