Boozy Watson

Appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman back in 2011, Watson was faced with a Paxman style interrogation about her drinking habits from the host, being repeatedly asked if she used "controlled substances".

Much to the surprise of the American audience who, as she hadn't gone down the DUI/meth/courtcase path of peers like Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan, had assumed her to be nothing less than nun-like, Emma proudly proclaimed "I have been drunk!" before taking a well-deserved bow.

Granger Vs. Malfoy

Once upon a time, long before he became tangled up in the evil acts of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eater cronies (seriously, how does anyone think these are just stories for kids?!), Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) was nothing more than your quintessential school bully.

No one ever could have predicted that it would be eternal good girl Hermione who gave the snivelling Malfoy a swift sock to the face, but boy-oh-boy was it satisfying to watch. Mudblood is not a nice word, Draco.

The Bling Ring Trailer (2013)

From the moment the trailer for Sofia Coppala's greed-obsessed black comedy The Bling Ring landed, there was only one moment anyone was talking about. That dance scene. Don't even try and pretend you don't know what we're talking about.

As Watson grinded and oh-so-suggestively licked her lips for the camera, we all simultaneously agreed that she'd done it. She certainly wasn't "just Hermione Granger" anymore.

Emma's Favourite Line

"I'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed - or worse, expelled."

That's right, Ms. Watson voted this as her most loved line. To the Potter novice it might sound like nothing more than a swotty joke from Harry Potter And The Philospher's Stone , but for the fandom this was the ultimate Hermione test.

Did little Emma Watson have the required level of pomp and snootiness to successfully portray this beloved character for seven more movies? Give the girl an A, she passed with flying colours. seven more movies? Give the girl an A, she passed with flying colours.

Childhood Ruined

Emma suffered a very public tragedy during her promotional interviews for The Bling Ring, and we can blame Empire Magazine for making our girl so sad.

After quizzing Watson as to why she followed @OfficialSanta on Twitter, the interviewer nervously pointed out that it might not be the actual Santa due to him being *SPOILER ALERT* totally not real.

Emma's reaction was pure genius, as her smiling face dropped, and she gave the journalist her best deadpan "I'm sorry, can we stop the interview?". Someone's getting coal in their stocking this year.

Oscars Pizza Party

A girl after our own hearts. Having survived presenting at the Oscars, Watson headed to her hotel room to change before the after-party of all after-parties, but found herself suddenly overcome with fatigue.

"I got back to my hotel room to change, took the dress off, got into someone's coat, and ended up just falling asleep in the coat," she told reporters. Did she down a coffee, fix her hair and head off to dance with Brad Pitt? No. She ordered pizza and went to bed. Good girl.

The Memory Wipe

The Deathly Hallows: Part One gave us one of the most poignantly painful scenes from the entire series, as Hermione demonstrates the lengths she's willing to go to to protect her family from Voldemort and the impending wizarding way.

With a quavering "Obliviate", she wipes her entire existence from her parents' minds, and watching Emma's face slowly fade from all the smiling family photos never doesn't bring a tear to our eyes. Pass the tissues.

Twitter Friends

Two of Hollywood's most adorkable ladies became bosom buddies with the help of one perfect Tw-interaction.

From Emma's cryptic "Cups" to Anna's typically charming response (and could that Friends reference BE any more perfect?), the only way this could have been improved on would be if they'd invited Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence to the party and J-Law had tripped up on the way there.

The Tunnel Song

Stephen Chbosky's coming-of-age com-dram The Perks Of Being A Wallflower saw Watson heading even further away from her squaky cleanHarry Potter image, as she took on the role of leading lady (and free-spirited cool girl) Sam.

Based on the beloved cult book of the same name, the scene that really made an impact saw Sam standing up in the back of a pick-up truck (think the car version of Jack's "I'm on top of the world!" in Titanic) whilst Bowie's classic Heroes blasts out of the stereo.

"Hermione just stole all of our shit"

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's 2013 apocalyptic gross-fest This Is The End saw Watson joining the ranks of celebs stepping up to play incredibly dickish versions of themselves - we're looking at you, Michael Cera.

However, our girl proved herself to be completely non-dickish (it's a word) as she connected with her inner badass, cursed like a sailor and kicked the proverbial shit out of the group of boys.
