Buy your way into the Golden Joysticks Awards

Would you like to attend this Friday's Golden Joystick Awards? Of course you would. And there's a chance that you could be there, if you've got some spare cash. The very last pair of tickets are being auctioned to raise money for GamesAid. If you're interested, get yourself to the charity auction page on eBay and place a bid. Starting bid is set at £200 and the auction closes at 9.30am Thursday 29 October. Which is tomorrow.

If yours is the winning bid, you and a friend can look forward to attending the award ceremony, which is one of the highlights of the gaming calendar, this Friday 30 October at London's Park Lane Hotel. There'll be champagne, a slap-up meal, lots of booze and entertainment courtesy of the "absolutely brilliant" comedian Sean Lock. Not only that, you'll also get to go to the after show party, which is headlined by DJ Shadow. 

All in all, it's going be a big day and night on the razzle.
