360 - Turok - Scroll down to see what this Turok dev Turok_Tim has to say about PS3 and 360 versions, demo, co-op and more. Know that the PS3 game rocks as hard as the 360 version:

"PS3 - Issues with PS3 development are largely overblown by internet "experts" and folks with an axe to grind. Face it, any new platform is going to present challenges and the PS3 is no different from the 360 in that regard. We've had over a year's head start getting experience on the 360, but Propaganda has extremely talented coders who took on the challenge of making Turok multiplatform and giving PS3 owners the best game possible. Sony was also a great supporter, providing on-site assistance here so that you guys on PS3 got the same AAA fps experience that the 360 owners are going to get when Turok's released. So to make a long story short, the PS3 game rocks as hard as the 360 version. No worries there."

360 - Turok - Turok dev to scrap team kill achievement Propaganda Games, developer of the new Turok game, has told CVG that it is looking at creating a fix to remove the team-killing Grab Bag achievement that caused riots a few weeks ago.

The Grab Bag achievement, dubbed the 'Worst Achievement Ever' by the internet, gives you ten points if you ""kill at least 1 creature, 1 enemy, 1 teammate, and yourself in the same round of a public match," encouraging the ultra-infuriating practice of team killing.

Dec 4, 2007 Plenty of games out there let you pull out a knife and score a one hit kill on other people from behind, but how many let you do it to an enraged dinosaur who could snap off Turok's head and eat it too? As far as Turok is concerned, those other games don't have a knife; they have a spoon. At the Turok multiplayer unveiling, we found the knife works as well in online play as it does in single-player, but there are more dinosaurs in the single-player game. We'll let the video do most ... » Read More

We've never heard of anything so ridiculous. Online Achievements are bad enough as it is ("Can ... » Read More

360 - Turok - Turok Voice Cast Revealed Touchstone is banking on some big names to draw some attention to next year's reboot of the Turok franchise, hiring some A and B-list Hollywood talent to voice the characters of John Turok and the rest of Whiskey Company. The man himself is being played by Gregory Norman Cruz, who appears in Saving Grace as Bobby Stillwater, as well as various small Native and Latin American roles over the past three decades including Hill Street Blues (Chico) and Cop Rock (Tito). Rounding out Whiskey Company are Timothy Olyphant of Deadwood and the Hitman movie, Ron Perlman from Hellboy, Donnie Wahlberg of New Kids on the Block, Prison Break's William Fichter,Stargate's Chris Judge, Mark Rolston, Lombardo Boyar, Gideon Emery, Josh Gomez, Jon Curry, Jason Harris and Steve Van Wormer. The villainous Roland Kane will be played by the legendary Powers Boothe. Wow. That's a lot of voice talent in one small package. Here's hoping the game is half as good as the cast

Aug 30 2007 The old Turok - that N64 classic - brought us ludicrously entertaining weaponry like the Cerebral Bore. The next-gen, redesigned vision of Turok's dino-slaughtering action is going back to basics, with this new gameplay trailer illustrating some knife-ilicious stealth killage. We're guessing there's still some projectile surprises to be had in Turok's outing on 360 and PS3, due sometime next year, but this silent executions certainly promise to satisfy. And the series hasn't ... » Read More

360 - Turok - Turok - The Bane of Dinosaurs is Back Turok, the FPS that just loves to hate dinosaurs will be landing in stores for the Xbox 360 and PS3 September 17th.

Propaganda Games will be releasing a demo before shipping Turok, and promises that new life has been brought to the franchise. Graphics and atmosphere will be more pristine and filled with the 'wow factor' thanks to the Unreal Engine 3.

Propaganda has hinted at the possibility of dinosaurs having A.I. This means that the T-Rex coming at you will be extra frightening and much more than a looming beast with a pea-sized brain. Raptors, the worst of the lot, will be even more cunning and predatory than what we are used to in Turok games.

Multiplayer options for up to 16 people is new to the franchise, and players will not only have to contend with these roaming enemies wanting to frag them to bits, but add the raging reptiles into the mix and you have carnage to the extreme.

Turok's story takes place on a dreary and unknown planet in the future, where your character, John Turok is the member of a Special Forces squad charged with the mission to destroy his former mentor Roland Kane. Now a criminal, Kane lives on this genetically altered planet and has his own army waiting to blast you to bits. The storyline is reminiscent of Turok history, but the question on most fans minds is whether this game picks up where Turok: Shadow of Oblivion left off. It would be unfair to leave us wondering what happened after that memorable cliffhanger, and despite Acclaim going bankrupt and not finishing the storyline in a fourth installment ¿ Propaganda should give fans what they want. We all hate an open ending, and here's hoping that this new chapter closes the book, or takes us along for one hell of a fun ride.
