360 - Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - Turning Point Delayed Until Next Year Tucked away at the bottom of a Codemasters press release comes the disappointing news that Turning Point: Fall of Liberty won't make its scheduled November 2007 release date. The game's now been pushed back to early next year.

360 - Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - Brothers in Arms Gets Cross-Platform Multiplayer Gearbox Software is one of a number of developers to already take advantage of a new PC-PS3 cross-platform online play solution that's been integrated into Unreal Engine 3.

In a nutshell, Epic has licensed GameSpy online tech and squeezed it into its hugely popular UE3 technology, "enabling seamless PlayStation 3 and PC online functionality. Functionality available to Unreal Engine 3 licensees via GameSpy will include cross-platform gameplay, communication tools and competition applications."

360 - Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - Yes, The New Codemasters Games Are Free Kotaku's Luke Plunkett didn't quite believe the news yesterday, so thought he'd check with Gametap. Surely they couldn't be offering all of Codemasters new/upcoming titles, games like Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Clive Barker's Jericho, DiRT and Overlord, for free? Seems they are, with Gametap confirming today that yes, as long as you're willing to put up with the odd commercial here and there, you can play them all for free on their ad-supported section.

360 - Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - Music for Turning Point: Fall of Liberty Codemasters announced today that film, television and award-winning interactive game composer Michael Giacchino will create the score for Turning Point: Fall of Liberty the upcoming alternate-reality WWII shooter in development at Spark Unlimited.

Giacchino's credits include the popular television series Lost, Alias, renowned game soundtracks for the Medal of Honor and Call of Duty franchises, as well as feature films such as Mission Impossible III, The Incredibles and Ratatouille. Giacchino last teamed with developer Spark Unlimited on the award-winning and multi-million unit selling Call Of Duty: Finest Hour game for Activision.

"I love working with Spark because they're a group that's focused on fusing innovation, quality and narrative into an intensity of game experience very few can create," stated Michael Giacchino. "For this game, we've taken an interesting approach that will allow the score to be more unique and emotionally personal to the player."

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is scheduled as a major Q4 '07 launch for Codemasters, and will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
