Console Monster writes: "The 9th September has arrived, along with the first downloadable content for the newly-released: The Beatles: Rock Band. Only one Arcade title releases today, after an error with Wallace and Gromit in Last Resort and there's some Game Add-ons for Texas Hold 'em and Buku Sudoku. Xbox 360 Fanboy just got word that new fansite Xbox Live Connection is holding a Texas Hold 'Em tournament via Xbox Live. Anyone who has the XBLA game Texas Hold 'Em and is at least 18 years old can join in on the fun. Qualifying rounds started last night, but will run until February 18th. All the nightly winners will be invited back to square off on the championship table on February 19th with first place receiving a $40 Best Buy gift card and second place a $10 Best Buy gift card. Rainbow 6 Vegas to support the Xbox Live Vision camera (News)

Ubisoft has confirmed today via a press release that the upcoming first person shooter, Rainbow 6: Vegas will include support for the Xbox Live Vision camera. You'll be able to use the Xbox Live Vision camera to scan your face into the game and take your custom character online. This isn't the end of the customisation however, you'll also be able to choose weapons, clothing and camouflage to really personalise your character.

The Xbox Live Vision camera launches in two weeks in Australia and the camera is already available in the UK. Other games to support the camera include the two Xbox Live Arcade titles, Uno and Texas Hold 'Em. When Texas Hold 'em debuted on XBLA, it broke the one day record with over 100 downloads per minute. Now Microsoft says that the poker freebie was a "thank you" to the community, and but they don't have any plans to do it again in the future.

Microsoft continues pushing forward with their Xbox Live Arcade releases, and while the world scrambles to download their free copies of Texas Hold 'Em before they have to fork over real-world cash, Microsoft's already planning some more interesting releases that aren't HD-filtered versions of old school classics.
In a press release covering the Leipzig Games Convention, Microsoft revealed that European board games Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne and Alhambra would all be appearing on Xbox Live.
