Videogamer writes: "Ubisoft has this afternoon responded to pro snowboarder Shaun White's apparent confirmation that a second Shaun White Snowboarding title is in the works.

However, when contacted by VideoGamer.com this afternoon, a spokesperson for Ubisoft said: "We have not announced any plans for future projects with Shaun."

While true, this is by no means a denial that a follow-up to the snowboarding game isn't being worked on."

It's been a while since we've seen a snowboarding game on the Xbox 360 (Amped 3?), but Ubisoft is looking to change that. Ubisoft Montreal is dropping you onto the slopes into the perspective from Shaun White, the Olympic Gold Medalist.

Shaun White Snowboarding is slated for Winter 2008. We'll be hearing and seeing more of it next week, from Ubisoft's UBIDAYS 2008.
