A new Saints Row 2 trailer couldn't possibly be any worse than the last one released, and this time around we're being treated to in-game action rather than squiggly lines and dialogue.

You can watch the trailer, which runs for two minutes, below. Can this really stand up against GTA IV?

On top of the trailer, THQ's released five new screenshots into the wild, which you can give a look-y loo here.

The sequel's just been slapped with an August 26 release date for the US.
