Prince of Persia hits XBLA next week

Ubisoft has told us that Gameloft's gorgeous remix of the original Prince of Persia will be arriving on Xbox Live Arcade next week.

As the courageous Prince, Classic gives you 60 minutes to save a random Persian Princess from her deadly fate.

The storyline, puzzles and massive jumps are retained from the 1989 original, only with a beautiful graphical re-tinkering and some particularly excellent animations. For those who exhausted the old version, there's also new traps, puzzles and enemies to be found.

Ubisoft hasn't confirmed pricing details yet, but we'll keep you posted.
