Atari have revealed today that downloads for the Xbox Live demo of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation have now surpassed the 1 million mark worldwide.
NAMCO BANDAI Games today announced a "Military vs. Civilians" online team tournament for Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, its upcoming flight action game for the Xbox 360. Co-hosted by the Global Gaming League, the tournament will allow active members of the U.S. Military to test their skills against civilian gamers in the game's high-flying online aerial combat. Registration is currently underway for civilian and military gamers at the official Global Gaming League website (www.ggl.com).

The new demo will be a multiplayer only where gamers will be able to prove how ace they are in aerial combat. This demo will compliment the already released single player demo.
Microsoft just released its second E3 2007 demo on Xbox Live Marketplace. After Blue Dragon Microsoft just released the campaign demo of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation which is due out in late October exclusively on Xbox 360.
Despite poor sales of the console in Japan, Microsoft has stated that there are no plans to cut the price of the Xbox 360 in the region but future discounting not ruled out.
