New Content Coming for Worms on Xbox LIVE® Arcade!
This week on Team17's Official Forum, Creative Director Spadge had this to say. "We now believe that the update will go live on Weds 23rd May, sorry it's not sooner. As for when the first load of DLC ships (and what it contains) I can't say, but it will be less than 8 days after the update goes live..."
UK pub 360 Magazine is hosting a little Worms tourney this month.
We heard rumblings about it last month, and it has now entered certification. It is hoped that the patch will be with us in the next week or two.

Martyn Brown, the studio director at Team17 has updated his blog with news of an update for the recently released Xbox Live Arcade title Worms. This patch will fix several issues with the game, one of the major ones being a problem with 4-player games crashing.
It's not often that developers go public on admitting cockups in their software. We all remember how long it took for Infinity Ward to mildly confirm that 'some players' had problems with the game's multiplayer before patching it after a ridiculous four months. The Worms developers deserve some cheers then for publicly stating that they screwed up on their AI timing.
