Console Monster writes: "If you've been kept in the house because of the 'poor' weather conditions and are looking for new content to download then look no further as the Xbox Live Marketplace update for Thursday 4th December 2008 is here:
Console Monster writes: "The big releases are definitely coming and this is shown throughout today's Xbox Live Marketplace update. With Gears of War 2 releasing tomorrow (or some lucky people have it today, including me!), a 'Welcome to Gears of War 2' trailer is now available. There's also Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty: World at War trailers; Vigilante 8 Theme packs and Guitar Hero: World Tour songs. The 'Bond' single looks interesting. Here is the full Xbox Live Marketplace update for Thursday 6th November 2008:
"This week, take the wheel of one of eight 70's road hogs and blow up other cars as you race across the American Southwest.
GamersPlatform Reports: "Activision has officially announced today the release date of the smash hit Vigilante 8..."
Console Monster writes: "We have just added the Achievements for Vigilante 8 Arcade on the Xbox 360. The achievements confirm the game contains eight vehicles, 'alien' icons and salvage points and rewards players for completing the single player Quest mode on Easy, Medium and Hard.

Stuart Houghton of Kotaku writes: "Last month Isopod were all smiles when they sent their game off to XBLA, but sadly the game has run into some problems. Microsoft found a couple of bugs in one of it's own code libraries and the game has had to be changed and then resubmitted for more tests."
V8: Arcade, the XBLA re-imagining of the Vigilante 8 series, has finally been submitted to Microsoft for certification, which means the game should arrive in late summer or early autumn.
XBF Writes: "It's another typical Monday full of bad news. We just dished out the bad news about Prototype, and now we find out that Isopod's Xbox LIVE Arcade remake of Luxoflux's Vigilante 8 has also been delayed thanks to a heads-up on the developer's blog."
After the new shots of the game that appeared lat week, Vigilante 8 Arcade was looking quite finished. In a dev update on their website, it was revealed that the game is in pre-certification and that the devs are expecting an early June release date, but that the final date will be up to Microsoft. Also, while there were no details at all given, it was confirmed that V8 Arcade will have some form of DLC in it's future. Given the type of game that this is it's almost a guarantee that the Marketplace will play host to new characters and cars, allowing for even more vehicular insanity.
