360 - Tales of Vesperia - Rumour: Tales of Vesperia Coming to Nintendo Wii Split-Screen: "First, XBox 360 owners were treated when Namco-Bandai's Tales of Vesperia released on the system, and this certainly helped bolster the console's presence in Japan due to it's exclusivity. Then PS3 owners got the royal treatment, plus additional content, when Vesperia was announced to be on it's way to Sony's console in time for Christmas. We don't quite know what Wii gamers were expecting, given that Tales of Graces was already announced for the console, but a blog post by a Vesperia voice actor indicates they could be in for more."

360 - Tales of Vesperia - Namco Bandai Considering Tales of Vesperia Sequel Anoop Gantayat: Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike is now in full theatrical release. Namco Bandai got around to celebrating earlier today with a creator talk session held at the Kadokawa Cinema theater in Shinjuku. Famitsu.com provided a report from the event.

360 - Tales of Vesperia - Tales of Vesperia PS3 port sells 147K copies on opening day Nick @ PS3Center writes:

Earlier this week, the long awaited PS3 port of Tales of Vesperia went on sale in Japan. Preliminary sales figures for the title are in, and the early reports suggest that the title moved an astounding 147,000 copies it's first day. For reference, the XBox 360 version sold 71,000 units in it's debut and finished with 106,000 copies opening week, shifting roughly 140,000 units before dropping off charts 2 weeks later.

360 - Tales of Vesperia - Microsoft Funds PS3 Game Development Responding to the complaints of Xbox 360 Tales of Vesperia beta testers, a developer has laid bare the not so shocking truth of just how Namco was paid off by Microsoft to secure an "exclusive" release, but instead merely used the Xbox subsidy to reduce development costs on the PS3 version, which it expected to sell better.

However, Sony intervened and blackmailed them into adding massive amounts of new content if they wanted to be allowed to go ahead with the PS3 release at all…

360 - Tales of Vesperia - Tales of Vesperia PS3 Fixes Major Gripe From 360 Version Tales Union writes: "You may have known about some of the new extras added in the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia, such as the superficial changes such as being able to walk around as Repede or having Flynn being an actual party member. What you may not have known about are some small changes that fix some of the major gripes in the Xbox 360 version, making the game much more enjoyable."

360 - Tales of Vesperia - PS3 Tales of Vesperia Exclusive Features Detailed JPS Reports: "Similar to the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia will be having tons of exclusive contents that will make the PS3 version far more superior than the XBOX 360. From the costumes to the secret artes, we will get detailed on what to expect once the game comes out in Japan.

As of now, there is currently no word if Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 will be coming out in North America but I am sure that Namco Bandai will release it here!"

360 - Tales of Vesperia - Xbox Users Petition over Vesperia Beta: "It Isn't Fair!" Xbox 360 users, stung by being the paying beta testers for Tales of Vesperia, a game touted as an Xbox exclusive and the sole reason many own their consoles, are launching a petition for redress from Bandai-Namco Games, who they accuse of "underhanded" and "unfair" tactics for daring to release the game on the PS3 in massively upgraded form.

360 - Tales of Vesperia - New PS3 Vesperia Content Cut From 360 Version Remember the new Mystic Artes being added to the PlayStation 3 version, such as Rita Mordio's Indignation (one of the staples of the series)? It appears they were initially planned in the Xbox 360 version.

The port includes numerous extras and changes, such as a brand new character, Patty Fleur, the addition of new bosses like the Sword Dancer, Flynn being playable for more that just one battle, among other changes. The game will also be fully voiced and will include new and altered scenes, such as Yuri fighting Don Whitehorse when the party visits Keiv Moc.
