"Seriously, it's been killing us to keep all the news about N+ quiet. We have really big mouths, and it's hard to shut that down. But, finally, we're FINALLY allowed to share the good news with everyone. N+ will be available for download for 800 points on this Wednesday, February 20th, at 9am PST. Yay! We feel like maybe there's not as much buzz as there could have been, but the orders to keep it all under our collective hat came from Microsoft's marketing department, and presumably they know a lot more about this sort of thing than we do."

"As big, big fans of the freeware charmer, N, we've been waiting with bated breath on the release of N+ for XBLA. The game finished certification a couple weeks back, so now it's only a matter of Microsoft slotting it into the XBLA release queue.

"The game developer's blog, at MetaNet Software's site, has been a good source for the comings and goings of the title, and the developers have been very willing to speak to fans on the game's intricacies. "Since it was announced last October, N+ has been one of our most-anticipated Xbox Live Arcade games. Sounds like the wait won't continue much longer, as developer Slick Entertainment has announced on its official sited that the platformer has passed Microsoft's certification phase. The game was originally submitted back in November but a few bugs were found. It was resubmitted on December 26 and passed with flying colors. Slick says N+ will arrive soon."

In a press release announcing the Fall Update's Xbox Live Arcade Hits program, Microsoft also announced the next few months' upcoming Xbox Live Arcade games that are scheduled for release. As things stand right now, the next XBLA games to get released are Arkadian Warriors, Brain Challenge, GripShift, N+, Omega Five, Poker Smash, Rez HD and Sensible World of Soccer. No specific release schedule for each game has been confirmed just yet, but it's always nice to see what's headed down the old XBLA pipeline. And this list also lets us officially get excited for N+ and Rez HD.

NAMCO BANDAI and Atari today announced their line-up of titles to be showcased at the ninth Japan Expo taking place at the Parc des Expositions, Paris Nord Villepinte from 3 to 6 July 2008. NAMCO BANDAI Games will be present once again to showcase an array of video game titles displaying the publisher's breadth of gameplay variety with entertainment for everyone from ninja fighting to physical family fun.

Fans of the cult Naruto and Dragon Ball Z anime series will be given first-hand experience on three brand new Naruto titles, including one worldwide exclusive, alongside Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit launching on 6 June for Xbox 360 and PS3, while visitors wanting a light-hearted workout can get physical with friends and family on the hilarious Family Trainer for Wii.

Naruto fans will be particularly well served with playable versions of three new titles all out later in 2008, namely Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress. The Bitbag writes, "Yesterday, Ubisoft released Shikamaru Nara as a free download through their "Exclusive Content" service for Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. Strangely, the game's official site doesn't reflect the new character, but he's most definitely there. Signing up for a Ubisoft account is free and can be done through the in-game menus. If you own this neat little adventure/fighting game, there's really no reason not to grab the new character, especially since he's one of the coolest in the animé and manga source material. The intro animation to his Jutsu is also well-done, and the finish animation is hilarious."
