360 News | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
It's the end of another great year for gamers. Two new systems launched. Two handhelds waged bloody battle. And next gen gaming got a big kick in the pants - thanks to a year of lonely rule by the Xbox 360. PC gaming fought fire with nukes, waging its battle against the console-based onslaught. In short, it ruled. How do we handle this? We're handing out our gleaming Platinum Chalice to those games and systems which gave us the business. No boring list of 37 different strategy games, divided ...

360 News | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Orrery, the latest chunk of downloadable content for the excellent Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, is now available for Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace and for PC at Bethesda's Oblivion site. Costing 150 Microsoft points (about $2.00), it's a download that's around 9MB in size and offers a new quest centered on rebuilding a mysterious, conked-out backroom within the Arcane University. We're a little torn about The Orrery - the new quest it offers is too brief and somewhat dim, ...

360 News | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Bethesda has released a downloadable add-on for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which adds barding - that's horse armour - to the game. Xbox 360 owners can purchase the download for 200 Microsoft points (or £1.50) from Xbox Live, but PC users will have trot over to Bethesda's official site, and shell out $1.50 (about 85p) for their upgrade. It's great to see the game is being supported, but £1.50 sounds a bit steep for a few bits of horse-bound metal. Still, you don't have to buy ...
